Any alerts you have currently set up will no longer work after April 21st. You can reconfigure all alerts using the instructions below.
Setting up alerts is one of the best ways to protect your accounts. Alerts can be received either by text, email, or both.
How to set up alerts:
- Log in to your digital banking account
- Select your profile icon in the upper right corner
- From the menu that appears, choose “Settings”
- Then select “Security” and “My Alerts.”
- You can then choose the type of alerts to configure.
Alert options include:- Balance alerts – be notified when your balance goes above or drops below a certain threshold. (This is great for avoiding overdraft fees!)
- Deposit alert – be notified anytime money is added to your account.
- Withdraw alert – be notified anytime money is taken from your account. (Great for immediately spotting unexpected or unauthorized charges!)
- Loan Payment Due – be notified when your loan payment is coming due. Choose how many days in advance of your due date to be alerted.
- And many more!

After the update on April 21st, Money Desktop will no longer be available. Unfortunately, we will not have a replacement service until November 1, 2025. At that time, Astera members will gain free access to My $ Snapshot.
My $ Snapshot is a financial tracking tool that allows you to see your complete financial picture by linking all of your online accounts together in one place. It also helps you create and monitor your progress with budgets, financial goals, and more!

After the Digital Update on April 21st, text banking will no longer be available.

As of 4/21/2025, our Snap Cash loan product will be temporarily unavailable as we make system upgrades. We anticipate making the Snap Cash loan available again in early to mid-May. We apologize for any inconvenience, and thank you for your patience!
