Full-time IT Network Administrator
Astera CU is seeking a network administrator for its Lansing location. The qualified applicant will: design, document and implement network communications and applications solutions; propose and implement system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the network; coordinate workstation and server implementation, network system planning, upgrading, monitoring, testing, and servicing; manage the vmWare environment as well as the Cisco VOIP phone system; provide LAN, WAN and server support, including hardware and software installation, upgrades, system backups, security testing, and disaster recovery testing; be responsible for virus/malware and patch management. This person will have a bachelor's degree in a related field with four to five years of related experience, be MCSE or MCSA certified, vmWare certified or an equivalent combination of education, experience and certification. This individual must possess excellent communication skills, be self-motivating and a team player. This position offers health, dental, vision, 401(k), life, disability, and PTO. Astera CU has an opening for a part-time Teller/Greeter. An Astera Teller/Greeter must deliver high quality service to both internal and external members in alignment with our Service Promises. A key element of this service delivery is to recommend credit union products and services that will improve each member's financial well-being. In addition, provides a variety of teller functions, including accurate processing of transactions. Responsible for providing a high quality of member service, including effective listening, determining members' needs, promotion of credit union services, and problem solving techniques.
